12 Twist BRA Tuning

I took my 12 twist out yesterday to do a little high heat tuning to find a load at and near the 90* mark and quiet surprisingly I came home with some excellent results. Conditions weren’t perfect but good enough I could get 5 shots off before the wind switched, my biggest issue was the mirage.

Data is on the target and these were shot at 500 yards.

looks good James,,,,I had made up my mind to do a 10 twist BRA to shoot the 87 -90 gr bullets but I saw the 6.5mm 135 gr BIB`s and should have a new 8 twist 4 groove Krieger 6.5x47 very soon,

Yea that’s a very very wide node. I need to retest and see if it actually repeats like that again.

how much did you have to change the charge of 8208 from back when it was say 50* cooler ??

No it’s my original M action rifle with a 1.250 straight barrel
