12 twist 6BRA barrel length

Got a 1.250 31 inch straight 12 twist barrel and gonna shoot 80 gr bullets from the BRA case with 8208 powder most likely...

I dont have any weight limits to meet.

How long would you have the barrel cut to?

28" works best for me for match shooting. Have several prairie dog barrels that I have rechambered from my point blank rifles that range from 16 to 24". You give up some on the shorter ones, I'm guessing probably 50fps per inch. But I can see no gain past 28" and I use 8208 in all my BRA's, my gunsmith also told me this. Just my personal experience.....
