Though I've been reloading for 25 years, I'm still learning about precision reloading. Yesterday I shot four 5 shot groups with my standard 6BR with some "goof" loads. Goofed in that instead of my standard square mark on the bullet seating depth, these loads were .020" off the lands. The load was 30.0 Varget, CCI 450, 107 Sierra, in neck sized Lapua brass. Best groups I've ever shot.
So here's the question. I was quite happy with my jammed loads, but these "jumped" groups look better. Is this just a fluke, or are others having good luck jumping Sierra's?
