105 Scenar stable in 9 twist ?

Hi all,
I have some of these coming ; I have never shot them before. I do have an 8 twist rifle to use them in.
Have any of you had success with these bullets in a 9 twist 6 BR at moderate velocity (2700 - 2800) ?
I am in central WA so shoot at 2300 feet (or so) elevation.

Thanks for any insight on this.

Nine twist is marginal, but results will vary. Try them! My results did not meet my desired group size needs, your expectations may be different. My 9 twist however shoots lights out with 95g. pills. In my opinion velocity has little to do with stabilization, if the required twist is not there to meet your needs and expectations.

Thank You.
Marginal is more hopeful than "no way"... :)
That BR will be a shorter range rifle so maybe they will be OK.
I also have other bullets that are rated for 9 twist ; just wanted to try the Lapua's.

I tried LS 105's in a 9,25" twist (the Remington standard for .243Win, I believe) and I have never been so close to tears at the range... Of course I should have made a smaller batch, but I had been looking forward to testing different loads and seating depths. Waste of my time. So, feel free and fiddle around, but try a small batch first. It either will or won't and you can certainly tell the difference. Even with teary eyes.

If you absolutely have to have 105's, I have shot the A-max 105 with decent results. Different design.

Thanks for the feedback ; I will wait and see how things go. I also have 105 A-max so maybe will try first and stick with them if they shoot well.
