We have a club member shooting these bullets competitively in registered F Class matches at mid range in a 6mm Norma BR. He routinely shoots high master scores and logs quite a number of “cleans” in competition.Have yall tried these in a br or dasher and if so what is your take on them . I shoot berger and barts . But was curious
The gentleman that I described in my original response personally told me that he jumps the 6mm 105’s 0.030.Not 6mm 105s but I called Nosler regarding 6.5mm 140 RDFs. Nosler recommended -.050 to -.060 off. At 600yds shot as well as 123SMKs
I assume that would be a good starting point for the 105 RDFs, assuming you have sufficifant freebore to avoid possible pressure issues.
The 130 gr. RDF was not good in my 260AI either.I have used 105 RDF's in a Dasher and 140 RDF's in a 6.5 CM. I got un-explained flyers with both. Weight sorting showed 0.9 grs variation with the 105's and 1.1 grs with the 140's. Weight sorting did result in many fewer off call shots at 600 yards but I only use the ones I have left for practice. I think the PRC guys may use more of them.
I have shot them and loved them but they are just too expensive now.Have yall tried these in a br or dasher and if so what is your take on them . I shoot berger and barts . But was curious
I have in my drawer 105 RDF bullets I've shot them to over 1000 yards in my .243Win. Mine our the blems, so take it for what it's worth....I had slight flyers at 100 yards. 600 yards over 12 inches out of the groups. At 1000 yards the flyers were the worst, a couple close to 2 mil out of the groups.Have yall tried these in a br or dasher and if so what is your take on them . I shoot berger and barts . But was curious
