105 AMax+Dasher

Hello all
Just checking to see if anyone is still using 105 AMax's in their Dasher, I'm aware of the supply issues there, strangely they are plentiful here (Australia)
I've had good results so far after swapping from 107 SMK's and Bergers have been unavailable for a long time

I have been shooting the 105grn A-Max in my 6mm Dasher, they shot well with Varget and IMR 8208XBR powders.

I have been shooting 105 A-MAX in my 6BRX long range BR gun as well as 162 A-MAX in my 7mm.
I commonly weigh grade the A-MAX and found two boxes of the same lot recently had weight variations of nearly .75 gr where previously the ES was about .3. I contacted Hornady and said that was well within their production spread?! I also measured dimensions on batches of 5 bullets from various lots and found 0.025"difference in both bullet length as well as length of the bearing surface!
I would like someone to convince me this is an abnormal glitch! I love the accuracy of A-MAX when they are the same size and weight, but the measured variations measured recently do not get along with 1000 yd accuracy!

Yes, I am loading Berger Hybrids again! And, I don't know if I will try the "new" 162 gr 7mm ELD-M!

I shoot the A-Max 105 in my Dasher and my .243 AI with good-to-very good results. I'll use the A-Max for gong shoots and informal matches, but I use either Barnes 105 gr Match Burners (they shoot great out of my Dasher), Berger Hybrids or DTACS for more serious business. I see more vertical stringing downrange with the A-Max, no doubt for the reasons mention above by normmatzen.

All good info thanks, When I measured the 107 SMK's I always used to find that id end up with three seperate lots per box. Measured that last box of AMax's ( base to ogive ) and all ended up I one lot, they were very consistent. Didn't weigh them but will next box. One thing I did find was that for the same load (33.0 varget ) they were exactly 1.0 Moa down from the 107 SMK's, @ 500metres
