103s in Dasher ?

Can anyone suggest accuracy load data for Dasher loads using 103s ? Thanks.

In the IBS completion results I looked at about a month ago, the 103's did well.
Either varget or H4895 seemed to work the best

Lapua Brass, 32.2-32.7 Varget, CCI 400 or 450’s. .005-.015 in the rifling. With anyone else’s load suggestion’s, always always always approach these quantities of powder with caution. Works with 60-70% of my barrels. If not try H4895 at a full grain less and RL15 up to the low 33’s. Alpha or Peterson brass will probably take 2-4 tenths of a grain less powder.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I have a sealed box of high end Bullets squirreled away that I’ve been itching to try. I am trying to determine if the extra cost is worth it , considering my shooting ability. Good shooting to you all.

Jim, the decrease in powder corresponds, I assume, to decreased capacity in the Alpha & Peterson brass ? Currently I’m running 32.0 gr. Of Varget behind 107 SMKs.

My suggestion is 32 grains of H4895. 103 Claymore bullets. Test a couple of tenths of a grain either side of that. Find the right seating depth for your rifle. That load shot well out of two rifles for me. One a 7.7 twist the other a 7.5 twist
Velocity around 2960. Alpha OCD or Lapua brass shot the same

I can assure you that 107’s won’t hold you back, you may want to sort them.

Just keep in mind the barrel may like or may not like that particular bullet. If after some tuning it doesn't show promise, I'd tuck them away and try them with your next barrel.

Yes on the decreased capacity of Alpha and Peterson affecting powder capacities vs the Lapua. Any of them can be made to shoot winning groups. Just have to Test and Tune, Test and Tune and Test and Tune some more.

Alpha or Peterson brass, Rem 7 1/2, Varget 31.0, Bison Balistics 103 Claymore in my 6 Dasher. Same for Berger 105 Hybrids.
