The first benchrest match at Bell City Rifle Club in Southington, CT will be on Saturday, August 15th at 10a.m.
We will be contesting VFS, VH, H, and factory/semi-custom rifles at 100yds. Official IBS registration is in the works, but I wanted to get the word out there because I know how busy vacation season can be. Dick Grosbier has been most generous and trusting in me, and has offered to list the match officially on the IBS site to get the ball rolling. If there are any unforseen changes in registration I will be sure to post here and on the bell city website,www.bellcity.org).
There will be food,6' subway grinder), soda, and water available for a small donation.
There are four new benches being built to bring the total number to 12, new target frames, and I might be able to talk my wife into baking some goodies for us to snack on at lunch.
Considering this will be the first match of its kind I am unsure of the true number of attendees. I have gotten some good preliminary numbers,thanks to those who have replied), but want to make sure we can accomodate all who are planning to show. Please contact me through this site or email
