Benchrest/Accuracy clinic at Bell City Rifle Club Southington, CT
Bell City Rifle Club in Southington, CT (www.bellcity.org) will be hosting our first benchrest/accuracy clinic on Saturday March 2nd, 2013. Bob White and Harley Baker will be giving the presentation which will start at 10a.m. and, according to Bob, may go until 2pm or so depending on questions and interaction during the lecture. Bob and Harley are volunteering their time and money (it's easily 2-3hr drive for both of them one way) in hopes of furthering the knowledge of those in the sport or fueling some fires for those that might be interested in joining.
We will be providing food and beverages though no formal lunch will be offered - bagels, donuts, pretzels, etc and coffee, water, sodas.
We are asking for $5 donation for Bell City members and $10 for non-members. Lunch comes with the donation.
We will not be shooting at this clinic as time constraints for those lecturing and the afternoon sun at bell city are not conducive to a thorough or enjoyable experience for any shooters.
Topics will be ranging from reloading, wind flags, benchrest disciplines and the various equipment for those disciplines - (Bob mentioned that he is going to bring some short range and long range setups), bench setup, technique, and more. Bob has run this clinic in NJ and gets as many as 40-45 shooters most of whom have heard the lecture multiple times.
Seating is limited to the first 30 who sign up by responding to my email address which is listed on the IBS website here http://internationalbenchrest.com/ranges/04club/BellCityCT.htm
That site will also give you an address for Bell City and my other contact information if needed.
I will post more details as Bob and I hash them out, but wanted to put that date out there for your calenders.
Thanks for your support.
Mike
