Mostly with the mirage 20x is about all I ever use at 1000

i use up to 55x and only back off seldom , to clear the mirage. do not think i have ever shot as low as 20

You dial back a bit, I use the mirage to see air flow that the flags dont always
show until a bit later. Shooting F-Class you need to have High Mag for tight holds
and you need to watch the air flow....All just tools , and the more tools in your bag the better.

I like high magnification for our events to see your impact holes. They wont let us look at our eTarget tablets until we are through shooting.

Just get a Sightron 10x50 and your good for anything. On here used for $800 and thats a steal
for a great scope.

Weight is not a huge deal, as it's either used on a bipod prone or a rotating bench shooting Pdogs. I would prefer FFP as I use to corrections as needed. The matches I shoot in are informal, fun shoots Right now I am leaning to the Golden Eagle. I like the PSTII, but "need" to upgrade my .204, so I am hoping to get a bit better scope for my Sav 12VLP in 6CM

Sightron’s FFP 6-24x 50. My nephew has one and it goes right on to where his NF NX8 has been pretty finicky on getting the parallax set.
