The 10/22 TD is notorious for not being an accurate gun. I took two out to the range, and all of the hv ammo I tested and most subsonic was poor. My sons gun just has a 4X scope on it and mine has a Burris 2x7 rf scope on it. neither are target scopes and the crosshairs are not for bullseye shooting. Mine wears a magpul backpacker stock and both have some trigger work. When shooting SK std plus and Norma mine was shooting sub .625 groups and his was under 3/4", making both of these guns quite acceptable for small game and varmint shooting. Before I tried these 2 kinds of ammo, neither would have been good for anything but cans. Shooting was done at 50yds. I have stoned both bolts for probably 1 hr to smooth them up and now they both cycle with out failure. The moral of the story is they are both horribly picky about ammo, but both turned out to be fairly accurate with the correct ammo and a little tlc. SK std plus and Wolfe MT are the same round in a different box, both loaded by Lapua.
