10/22 Barrel dimensions ?

I have a .22 RF barrel to chamber and cut for a 10/22. I have the 45 degree cutter for the clamp slot and a rough estimate of the extractor slot angle offset of 10 degrees perpendicular and 35 degrees off the tenon face. Looking for anyone who has done a barrel to verify those angles. I do have the tenon and slot dimensions. TIA, Hog.

I haven't cut the extractor slot in my 1022 barrel yet But I sure would be interested if you have a drawing of the tenon and extractor slot. I cheated and threaded my action and barrel

Standard tenon diameter is .6865, .750 long. I considered threading but I don't want to go that deep in the rabbit hole. Just need that angle so I can do the entire operation in an indexing head and collet.

What thread pitch did you go with?

I did one a few months ago, I marked it in the gun with dykem, Got it parallel on my mill then indexed the mark to the cutter by eye. Can't recall what cutter I used, but it was enough to get the depth for the 35° degree angle and allow the extractor to grab the case. Tested it and functions perfect. And it's honestly one of the most accurate 22's i've seen. Shoots better than my Anschutz.

The trick is getting that cut deep enough to allow for the extractor to function properly. A little extra clearance isn't going to hurt, but you can't go too deep on the chamber side.

Not exactly what you were looking for but it worked great for me.
