Found the barrel screws loose on my rifle and was wondering the torque required on them.

If screws you're asking about are the two Allen screws that attach the barrel to the receiver, then I'm pretty sure it is 10 inch pounds. Stock screw 20.

Brownells suggests 45 inch pounds, I have heard 60 inch pounds. 3.75-5 foot pounds.

Barrel V block According to T. Kidd is 10 inch lbs... take down screw, 20 would be a good place to start.....

YUP,.. ^^^ This,.. IMO and,..
degreased / Loctited screws ! ( the Barrel gets, Lots of, Vibration ! )
