10-10 Issues

Hi All
I have been getting irregular readings from my 10-10 scale lately. When I measure up a load, I trickle the powder bit by bit till it reaches the centre marks...as usual.
Well..now I get the the centre marks to corrospond, then I push the beam down, and let it settle again. 9/10 times, the beam centre is about 3mm above the centre line!!!
Any ideas how to solve this??
This is affecting my SD at long distances

contact RCBS, It's most likely the anvil bearings are bad. If their customer service is what it was when I last used it they will ship the bearings free:D. great people

For a repeatable 10-10 scale, might I recommend sending it to Scott Parker. I can't tell you what kind of magic he works into these scales, but, suffice it to say, it is kernel repeatable time after time.
