1 SCREW OR 2 FOR SCOPE MOUNT SCREWS?

Single screw should hold on leupold 45, anything heavier I would go to 2 screw. Harrells stopped make scope rings awhile back. The new guys running it may have started making them again. Give them a call

I hope they continue with them. I love their offset rings for a bench rifle.

On my light gun when I shot Comps I had 2 screw front and 1 screw rear with no issues.

I try to stick with Zeiss Rings. Four screws on each ring cap. On the base
side of things, I prefer a pic rail mount. Pic rail rings have a thru bolt for
the slotted rail. Push the scope forward towards the muzzle and tighten
down. This method takes up any slop the slot has that the rings will try to
adjust to under constant recoil.......
