Would either rifle happen to be a eight twist? They have been very accurate for me in the 6 BR and the 6 GT. Graft & Son has them in stock..
Kinda OT but I wonder how they would perform in a 6x45?They have been very accurate for me in the 6 BR and the 6 GT. Graft & Son has them in stock..
Bart's Dominator is a go to bullet for my 6x45, I'm sure the Berger 80 FB will work as well.Kinda OT but I wonder how they would perform in a 6x45?
8 twist Shilen 24” barrelIt would depend on your barrel twist. ???? You can probably get by with a 10" possibly a 12" twist but a 9" twist would be my preference.
I have shot these at 200 Yds, a couple of 1/2 In. Groups in light winds.Besides the dominators are these 80gr FB bullets good?

Berger .243 Diameter 80 Grain Flat Base Hollow Point Varmint 100 Count Bullets
Berger .243 6mm 80 Grain Flat Base Varmint rifle bullet is a match grade bullet that expands on impact.www.powdervalley.com
They are really moving!Fir pure accuracy, none of the 80 or 90 grain bullets will stand with the Barts 80 grn Dominator. It’s a true custom Benchrest Bullet.
In my 6BRA, which has a .103 Freebore, I shoot the Barts 80 at 3450 fps with 33.7 grains of H4895, with great accuracy at 200 yards. I also have a load of 32.3 grains of N135 that shoots quite well. I shoot 1-12 twist Bartlien or Krieger barrels.
I am jumping them just a little, probably .010.
Ranger188 beat me to it... 95 grn Sierra MK.95 grain Sierra matchking.
