1/4 or 1/8

Bottom Fodder

Do most run 1/4 or 1/8 moa scopes for FClass? I know with 1/8 there is less ” hold off the X”
and I guess some use Mil’s dot scopes

Most in F Class will hold windage so it's less critical, but for elevation as others have said you'll be moving 2-1/2" on the target at 1000 mean if you're shot is at the top of the X ring, you only have one click of adjustment before you're now at the bottom of the X ring. That means you're more likely to have to shade high or low to hold your waterline which is less than ideal when it can be easily resolved by getting 1/8 minute clicks giving you more adjustment inside the X or even the 10 ring if needed.
