Yes, my memory is kind cloudy, I think he shot old Remington actions, a far cry from what we spend today..... jim

Nice shooting Glenn, now we just got to see how it holds together in the wind in a match. Either way very nice.
 
Joe, I usually miss the blue! There is a strange thing that does happen very often at deep creek. You can be in the white box all through the sighter period, then 10 seconds later when the record target is hung over top of the sighter your group will form high in the 9 ring. Its so common, and I do not know why this happens.
 
Alex your right I've been trying to figure that out for 40 years and just when I think I got it. The wind says got ya! Last match all my sighters stayed in the ten ring, then when the record target goes up my first and second shot are left in the nine ring. Go figure!
But I'll take a 98 any day.
