Just curious, what’s the caliber? Caliber, barrel length and bullet weight will decide.I'm just curious what you guys think decent size groups are at a thousand yards would be from a varmint rifle. I'm usually shooting from a bench or prone with a bipod up front and a rear bag or a monopod in the back. Just kind of wonder what you guys consider a respectable group size.
Go find out!
There is a world of difference between groups at 100-300 yds., 600 yds. and 1000. Loads that are great at short range can easily fall apart past 300. Find a range and work your way out.
Under MOA in good conditions.....I'm just curious what you guys think decent size groups are at a thousand yards would be from a varmint rifle.
I would love to have the opportunity to shoot 1k twice a week! Or any week...LOL. I know what my gun shoots. That's not the question I asked. I shoot at a grand twice a week. But I usually shoot by myself and I'm looking for comparisons.
Are you using flagsIve shot a few of those when it's dead calm.
