Unfair question, what’s your favorite?

That 6-06 using a 25-06 case necked down, is intriguing to me. A poor man’s 240 Weatherby and my 240 has 700-800 rounds through it so day is coming …

Jack used other calibers also, even though his name is linked in memory to the .270 Win. His antelope rifle was a 6.5-280, as I recall -- held a little more powder than the .06 case and apparently he hunted antelope in areas with very little cover, where shots were long and windy days were normal.

I have an FN single shot 6.5-‘06 and a “bring back” military Mauser 8mm-‘06. I also have a reamer and a lot of brass for a 6mm-‘06 improved. Not sure of the exact name of it.
