.0001 Pin Gauge Sets

For those that have pin gauge sets in .0001 increments, where did you get them? I’ve found the Deltronic sets, but I wasn’t sure if there were other options or not. Thanks!

If you have a specific range you can go with the Vermont custom sets. Really nice in the cases if you opt to get them. Not the cheapest @ $245 and up for 25 pins.

Those are nice. They all seem to be priced around $250. Not cheap, but not a bad price for what they are honestly.

Yeah, I’d like to use them to check bore diameters. More for my own records and curiosity than any other reason.

I have Deltronic Pin sets of 25 ea in the various calibers that I chamber. I haven't priced them recently, but thought they were around $150 per set. Crescent Gage is who I buy from and they are on the block behind my shop.

Deltronic are the best imho. Go to their site to find a distributor in your area.

just a thoght but for me casting the muzzle with cerosafe and measuring that i get more consistent results- just MHO— i have the 1000th pin gages that work for what i do. there are a few id like to have in lesser increments.

Just get the Deltronic pin sets and they are in .0001 or a ten thousandths

Casting the bore gets you the groove diameter instead of the bore diameter. Will take a special micrometer if an odd number of grooves.

You stick them in the bore you best be careful in what your doing and how you are handling them.

It wouldn't be the first time a guy jammed the pins into the bore and scored the tops of the lands.

You can do it.... again just be careful!
