    June, 2016 - central Montana prairie dog shoot. Went with my son and two friends that are both funny enough to be professional comedians. We shot and laughed non-stop for 3 days. In the evenings at the lodge, the outfitters had extended family and nearby ranchers come by to engage in the laughs...

    I've got one built on a Nesika single shot action for shooting prairie dogs. I'm also using the 39 grain Sierra BK's at 3700ish fps. Basically .204 Ruger performance at twice the costs :D !! LOL. I like the gun, like the cartridge, but I probably wouldn't do another one.

    This is my Primal Rights / Rim X barreled action that I put into a Manners stock quietly killing stuff in central Montana. Pretty easily smackin' stuff out to 260-ish yards ( at that distance it just ice picks them - but- they fall over dead ). Farthest I've shot it. But, it's accurate and fun...

    AW magazines ( which a lot of PRS shooters use ) tend to feed a lot smoother than the AICS style.

    Did it in the mid 1990's ( 1995 I think ). It was fun. Stayed at the motel on the edge of town next to the road out to the Lee ranch. Ate dinner at the Grey Goose ( ? ) restaurant in town. Fun times.
