    If it's just primed brass and not loaded ammo I don't even know whether UPS will require the new "Small Arms Ammunition" label. Even if you do have to apply the label, though, there should be no problem shipping primed brass at a UPS (or Fedex, for that matter) hub.

    You can do the same thing with a deck of cards. Just add or remove cards to get the right thickness. And you can tighten everything down with the deck of cards in place: Just remove individual cards to add clearance when you want to pull the deck out.
