  4. SELLING WTS Lapua 6br brass NIB

WOW. When I was selling the 6BR Brass, Lapua had just announced the NEW blue plastic box. I had just received 2 cases of the gold box. I had been selling it for 80 delivered. The blue box announcement stopped my sales because everyone went crazy for a $2.00 plastic box. It took forever to get...
  5. The Creedmoor legend grows!

I was going to get a CM when they were first introduced, until I learned you had to have a 40HR training course before you joined the club. Then you had the secret code word of the day and the secret handshake, and you had to attend a one a month meeting. Just to much for me. :D:D:D LDS
  6. INFORMATION NEEDED

I got my shotgun flashlight project complete. I used a MONSTRUM 34 MM 6 screw ring and some black tape, and made a good looking installation. A small 100K rechargeable light is wicked. I already had a picatinny mnt. on the gun from a previous smaller flashlight. Thanks to all who replied. I wish...
  7. School shooting

I graduated from HS in 1964. NEVER in my wildest dreams would anyone have thought of doing fatal harm to another student. Todays events are just beyond belief. I don't have a clue what yr the first school shooting took place, but apparently since it got a lot of press, it's been a case of monkey...
  8. INFORMATION NEEDED

I have a pair of BURRIS 30MM and w/o the inserts the light will not fit in the ring. The 34s should be close, I hope. Thanks for all of your help. OH by the way this is for my Armadillo shotgun. I already have a rail mount w/a light, but the light is to weak for my tired eyes. This new light is...

  12. JEWELL TRIGGERS -- Future Prospects

Although I have taken my web site down, I continue to get calls and emails hoping that I still have some inventory. I only wish???. Buyers are wanting PARTS AND SPRINGS, which I never stocked, but they don't know that. My suggestion if any of you have a Jewell that's inoperative I would part it...
  13. JEWELL TRIGGERS -- Future Prospects

Now there is a brand I have never heard of. LDS
  14. JEWELL TRIGGERS -- Future Prospects

As far as I know I could sell any brand out there. But in what quantity, it would be like a crap shoot. Most brands have so many models w/different options, that I could easily spend a 100k and not have the trigger that a customer wanted. That what I liked about Jewell, the simplicity: It was...
  15. JEWELL TRIGGERS -- Future Prospects

Someone once posted that Tony Boyer had switched to B&A. My reply unless his was a freebie, he was already a winner w/a Jewell, How was a trigger that cost twice as much going to help ???? LDS
  16. JEWELL TRIGGERS -- Future Prospects

I will answer the quantity number the way Rolls Royse answered what the HP of their engine was, SUFFICIENT. I was told by one of JEWELLS employees that my sales numbers exceeded the numbers combined of their two biggest vendors. When I started, Jewell pricing at some vendors was already mid...
  17. Bud's Gunshop Opinions

I have customers that either buy or trade w/them and I am the receiving FFL. They have to be good for the amount of packages I have received over the yrs. LDS
  18. JEWELL TRIGGERS -- Future Prospects

That could work out like when I added Trigger Tech and Geissele to my Jewell line. Those were already a popular brand and I though would be a shoe in. It didn't work for me. I had those 2 brands in stock, that should have sold in 30days or less, but it took a yr and a half. I'll never understand...
  19. JEWELL TRIGGERS -- Future Prospects

I was hoping by now that someone w/deep pockets would have bought the company and I could go back to work. At this late stage of the game, there must have been some legal issues that prohibited the company from being sold. Looks like I will just settle for being handsome rather than handsome...
  20. Jewell trigger?

All I can say is what Arnold Jewell said. "Clean w/lighter fluid, and do not lubricate". Use a good bore guide to keep solvent and any lubricant out and you should have no issues. NEVEVER spray any trigger w/WD40, accidentally or on purpose
