Need Help Identifying this Trigger

Recently bought a PRS rifle at a local auction. I’m going to be parting the rifle out and am very curious what trigger it has. It is on a RR 700 short action. See picture. I can’t seem to find this trigger online.

Could that be the Hit trigger?
Whats the pull weight?
Some triggers Timney no longer makes also

I haven’t tested the trigger pull. Feels like 1-2 lb to me. Curious if it’s adjustable as well.
Thats one thing I was wondering, it looks like it has adjustment screws but cannot tell for sure.
if it is not adjustable - (No provisions for adjustment) and it is in the 3-4 lb range
it is likely an Impact Trigger (worth maybe $80-$100)
---
If you are interested in a very nice Rem 700 Tuned Factory trigger, let me know
I sell them, tuned down as low to a crisp 1.25 lbs if wanted

More Pics…..it has bottom bolt release. Top right safety. It definitely looks like it has adjustment screws but I don’t have a clue what they do. I’m picking up a really nice Remington 700 LTR Sunday. Not sure what trigger it has but I thought about swapping this trigger to that rifle if I could adjust it down a little more.

Best thing to do is contact timney if you want to know for sure
it kind of looks like one of their 2 stage triggers also but its too hard to say without feeling it
Rear Screw is for takeup
Bottom front is usually spring pressure for trigger return
Top front is usually overtravel stop
---
break the locknut on the rear screw, the correct hex socket is the best way
try not to do what other people do by taking a pair of pliers to it
Cycle and cock the bolt
and screw the screw "IN" until you hear the sear break
then back it off 1/4-1/2 turn
that will get you very close, you can sneak up on it from there
if it feels like there is a lot of spring pressure, you can turn the bottom front out a little at a time
make sure there is enough spring pressure for the trigger to reset
---
there may be loctite on the front screws, if they dont turn you could try applying a soldering iron to the screws first, you dont wanna strip the hex.

That’s a Timney 517. It’s the same trigger as the 510, but with a flat blade.
I’m assuming this is an early version of the 517? The reason I ask is because the photos online of the 517 do not have two little screws in the bottom right of the trigger like the one does in my first picture.

After much searching online at pictures it seems as though the closer match would be a Calvin Elite. Which is a big game changer. Either a 2lb pull or 8 oz pull depending on the model.

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong based on the photos I’ve given.

From the pictures I have seen, those holes or screws were removed in the 517 V2 trigger. Yours looks like a 517 (pre v2). I could be wrong, but I have a trigger that looks like yours in a rifle I bought used. Mine doesn’t have the bolt release on it though. I need to adjust the pull weight, but even though it’s a cheap trigger it seems very good and crisp.

Yes I agree. The trigger feels great, just a little heavy for my liking.
