I recall there was a person here who was making these. I shattered my glass powder cup yesterday and wanted to see if anyone knows who was making these before ordering a new glass cup. Thanks!

I wipe my cups with a used dryer sheet and have experienced 0 static electrical issues or powder sticking in the cup.

I have a dead drop. Used it one session, splashed kernels. No comparison to the IP cup. The IP cup design is genius. 2 piece, soft absorbing replaceable bottom. I have every cup made, they all sit collecting dust.

I have a 3d printed cup from mk machining. A kernal or 2 will occasionally stick to it. I thought it was just due to the rough texture compared to metal. I will try the dryer sheet. Maybe its static, but Its not a big deal. I just trained myself to tap it against the funnel. The tap helps clear the funnel if it bridged and starts settling a compressed load too, bonus. I don't even think about it now.

ordering a new glass cup

For all the people raving about how their cup is perfect, here's how I do mine: any cup at all, with a single layer of painter's tape where the kernels will hit. No bounces out of the cup.

When it comes to powder cups it's REALLY hard to beat the one IP sells. It just seems to "check all the boxes", and at only $22, it's sort of a steal. I'm sure you could spend days comparing and contrasting the pros/cons of all the choices out there, or geek out for weeks inventing your own 3D printed design. It seems to me though, that all that has been done already.... by Paul at Ingenuity Precision, and the result is the $22 cup available right now on his website. You know the one... The one that gets brought up again and again, every single time a thread like this one posts to a forum.
