Any experience here with H-S Precision 2000 Pistols?

It appears from one sided picture, to be of a similar design of an XP-100. Same kind of barrel recoil lug type trigger hanger for a center grip stock with a transfer bar and rear of the action connection of the mechanism. HS could have made the actions or had others make the action for them. Rare or odd does not always make value. Plus Silhouette shooting has taken a sharp decline in the past 10 years.

What gives the XP-100s added value is that 700 parts fit the XP-100 to make it into a rifle. If the 2000 will convert to a rifle in similar fashion they would be more versatile than just being an odd handgun, with a decent pedagree.

HS Precision makes quality products so it would be surprising if the 2000 is not a decent shooter. Value is anyone's guess.

I have a HS .308. Crazy accurate. Killed several deer out to 400 without problems. Bill Wilson of Wilson Combat sent me some bullets to test last year. 130,140 solid copper (Lehighs) of different configurations do quiet well-drt s. The 400 yd. shots were 150 gr, Nos. Bal. STs.
It's a shame HS stopped making handguns. Just another death nell for us handgunners. Excellent quality.+

Always thought they had a great looking stock. I've heard the boomers cracked a few though....
Matt
The problem with H&S precision stocks is they are a fiberglass stock that is foam filled. Both my 7-08 and 6BR XP's have HS stocks but they are not showing cracking. McMillan stocks are solid fiberglass.

I only know of one person that has an HS 2000 and it was an Accurate monster!
