April 18 & 19: 600 yard matches 1 & 2
Setup 17th

May 30 & 31: 600 yard matches 3 & 4
Setup 29th

July 24-26: 1000 yard matches 1, 2, on Friday 3, 4 on Saturday & 5 on Sunday
Setup 23rd

Sept 26-27: 600 yard matches 5 & 6
Will make matches 5 & 6 both double point matches.
Setup 25th

October 9-11: 1000 yard matches 6, 7 on Friday 8, 9 on Saturday & 10 on Sunday
Setup 8th

We will be shooting three classes: tactical, light gun, and heavy gun

From I-90, take Exit 61. Go north on Elk Vale Road for approximately 11 miles to Bill Janklow Rd. The shooting complex is located on the east side of Elk Vale Rd. off Bill Janklow Rd.

We don’t have all the specifics at this time and will share more information as time goes on. If you’re willing to volunteer, please contact me as we could use some extra help.

I will be your contact for more information. I look forward to seeing a bunch of you this summer! Please let me know in advance if you are coming so we can prepare for the correct number of shooters - my aim is to have anticipated attendance a week prior to each match.

I’m not sure. They could have. I’d suggest asking the guy that shoot at Porcupine if they know anyone intending to head one up.

For the tactical class we plan on doing three subdivisions, unlimited, true-tac, and hunter. The rules for these subdivisions will be as follows:
Unlimited- any setup that meets the rules for tactical class will be allowed (front rest and typical rear benchrest style rear bag).
Tru-tac- any rifle setup that meets the Freedom Benchrest tactical rules but limited to shooting with a foldable bipod and rear squeeze bag.
Hunter- same rules as Tru-tac but a 13 lb weight limit.

For the overall tactical all tactical shooters will be combined.

We don’t have all the specifics finalized at this time and will share more information as time goes on. Here are some more details that I can share.

To encourage more shooters and families to attend we are going to have half price junior and female entry fees. The anticipated entry fees per match will be:
First class $35
Second class $25
Third class $20

If you are coming from the west on I90 you might want to look at a map and take elk creek exit. It will cut off some miles but will have more gravel.

There a several hotels around exit 60. I know people have stayed at:

Camping: There is no camping at the range. There are camping sites around Rapid City. One example is KOA, I’ve never stayed there and can not recommend god or bad. koa.com

Supposedly Teachout's Back 40 Campground is less than 15 minutes from Pete Lein Shooting complex. Our plan is to shoot the FBR 600yd match on 5/30, 5/31 at Pete Lein and hangout and shoot the Tackdriver a couple of weeks later and then haul azz to the Rendezvous.
