BAT 3Lug weak ejector… help needed to run em fast on condition

I built a short range BR for score rifle a couple years ago on a BAT 3Lug action. The action cycle is smooth as silk and I love the 60deg throw. The rifle is very competitive but when I need to run it fast on a condition I often get held up with a piece of brass that didn’t eject or sometimes gets flipped around and I have to come off the gun and pick it out and get back going but often the target suffers from my inability or patience to wait on the right condition to return. I understand I can work on the latter and this is a known issue for the 3L’s but I haven’t found a great fix for the weak 3L ejector yet…. Does anyone have a sustainable solution for the weak 3Lug ejector, a stiffer spring, etc. without doing something too wonky? For those that are going to give me this response, I have reached out to BAT on this as well a couple times and once more recently with no response. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

Usually the solution is as simple as a stronger ejector spring.
You did not say if this was a PPC bolt face, or a “generic” that will extract and eject either 6PPC or BR.

I have a Bat Neuvo that has the combination bolt face. I set it up to gently eject a 30BR case. When I screwed a 6PPC barrel on it, it would fail to eject about one out of four times.

I got a stiffer spring from Bullet Central and it cured the problem. It does flip the case out a little further than I want, but that’s better than it not ejecting at all.

You did not say if this was a PPC bolt face, or a “generic” that will extract and eject either 6PPC or BR.

It has a PPC/BR bolt face. I have replaced the spring and plunger.

How did you specify a stronger spring when bought from BC or did you buy their standard replacement offering for the 3L? I see now it’s states upgrade spring and I’m not sure when I bought mine it said that.

I would think so. The problem, as I have encountered on another brand, could be the extractor instead of the ejector. The extractor may be dropping the empty off the bolt before it should.

I had that problem with my bat I called kelbys an got springs for the sako extractor replaced the spring no problem ever since

Bat must have a bad shipment of springs when I called bat they told me it would take weeks to get me some springs so kelbys they shipped the same day at no
Cost. Top Company that why I just bought 2 pandas
