Ask Sinclair.
The 3 leg Sinclair rest originally had a 3/4x10tpi post and changed to the 1x14tpi at some stage. Their big rest always had the 1x14tpi post.
I ordered one today. Notified and it was all ready back ordered within a half an hour. I back ordered it any way. Looking for the fellow selling the windage dampeners.
I'm STILL kind of (kind of is an understatement) pissed off that Brownells "goofed up" Sinclair like that. Is anyone else? You do realize that Sinclair International was bought out years ago by Brownell's, don't you?
It's not like the old days when you had a technical question, and you spoke to a fellow competition shooter or a smith/machinist who was knowledgeable with the product line.
We should start a "STILL kind of (kind of is an understatement) pissed off that Brownells" club.I'm STILL kind of (kind of is an understatement) pissed off that Brownells "goofed up" Sinclair like that. Is anyone else?

i bought a competition rest from brownells last year. it was sold as a scratch and dent (factory second) havent used it much but i like it so far. i will look it over to see if i can improve it. sounds like i wont be getting anything from brownells for it so i guess ill be making wnything i need. Thanks for the info. I to wish sinclair was still in business. they were an hour from my house. i dont buy much from brownells these days. The Competition Rest or parts have not been available for several years. I was told the small machine shop that made them for Sinclar was sold right when Browells bought out Sinclare and the new shop owner had no interest in making them. Plus, Brownells had little or no interest in pursuing a new source. This came from someone inside direct to me a while ago. I had a problem with mine, tore it apart and had a friend with a lathe who made me what I needed. Plus the was no lubrication on the inner working I had to have made, now there is lube. Also replace the shiny spring with an old Panda spring which gave be more range of motion, but it was tough to get it back together with the much stronger spring, you need a guy with strong hands for that.
right— i have the sinclair catalogs for the last years to. i wouldnt let go of them like i wouldnt part with my last broownell catalogs. great reference and since their website sucks i sometimes have to look something im gonna buy up in the catalog then put the numbers i find in catalog into the webpage. i dont buy from brownell inless its my only choiceThe last catalogue Sinclair printed, for some reason they sent me two. I gave one to a friend but would not part with the one I have left.
