SBR a T/C contender?

Now that tax stamps for suppressors and SBRs are zeroed out; has anyone else considered putting a Contender receiver thru as an SBR? Any potential drawbacks to doing so? I'm thinking a suppressed 14 inch would be a dandy little blind rifle.

Traveling between states requires paperwork. You have to engrave stuff on the frame. And its harder to sell if you had to.

I did one years ago, long before they had any pistol braces available. I use it to suppress all my handgun length barrels. Added a short folding rifle stock that can be used either as a pistol or an SBR.

Doesn't need to be a SBR. Just put a 3x9 riflescope on it and go hunting, especially from a blind.

Put a 16” and go on.
Paper work it SBR and the way I read it, it could never go back to a handgun.
This subject has been beaten to death at numerous websites. So bad in fact it is forbidden subject.
