I think hes referring to a 6 Grendel.Is a 6 Major a Grinch of a different color?

You should be able to get several good ideas from 6 arc bolt gun data...assuming you aren't talking ar15. They're very similar in capacity and design.Anyone out there shooting the 6 Major in a 8 twist? If so, what are you using? Bullets? Powder? Primers?
Yes, I"m looking for loads with the Berger 88gr HBC FB V bullet and N133.I think hes referring to a 6 Grendel.
Yes a bolt gun.You should be able to get several good ideas from 6 arc bolt gun data...assuming you aren't talking ar15. They're very similar in capacity and design.
Aren't the dimension of the 6 Grendel and the 6 Major the same? Isn't the Grinch a 6 Grendel with a 40 degree shoulder?I think hes referring to a 6 Grendel.
I will as soon as I get a barrel... I have a 12 twist that a shoot 68gr bullets through, five rounds touching is normal using N133, H322 and LT-32I’ll be shooting 6Grendel shortly. Throated for 90-95g, I’m guessing 135-140, 8208,4895 range powder. If you try 133 with the 88s share the info.

Yes, a 6 Major is a 6 Grendel without any changes to the case body. Just a simple neck down to 6mm.Aren't the dimension of the 6 Grendel and the 6 Major the same? Isn't the Grinch a 6 Grendel with a 40 degree shoulder?
I think you'll get better speeds and accuracy from a little slower powders, ie 8208, h4895, n140 range. You might get good accuracy from 133 but it's a bit fast for the 87-95 class bullets IME. N135 would be as fast as I'd try, but ya don't know till ya try it either.Yes, I"m looking for loads with the Berger 88gr HBC FB V bullet and N133.
Here's a link that might clear up the Major, Grendel, and Grinch a little bit.Aren't the dimension of the 6 Grendel and the 6 Major the same? Isn't the Grinch a 6 Grendel with a 40 degree shoulder?
Whatever twist you have, that twist will determine the bullet used and to me that's the beauty of reloading. I think the 9 twist will work perfectly for the Berger 88's since I've done more research, I think I put the cart before the horse.RonS
Barrel twist was my million dollar question. I have 2 barrels both 9 twist, in hindsight I should have had 1 in 10twist.
