I’ve been wanting an older Remington 30-06 with a shorter barrel. I ran across this rifle and quite honestly over paid, I thought it was in better condition than it is. It’s still has a lot of life left in it for sure but I’m after something with a little less wear. Looking at it I don’t think it’s been shot a ton, it shows wear on the stock, barrel etc but the bolt face doesn’t reflect a high round count. Serial number is 5 digits, first two numbers are 81.I think it was packed a lot or rode in a truck a lot. I can only posted six pics on my original ad, if you want more just ask and I’ll send you more. It has a 19” barrel, all original, never been cut down, steel butt plate, flat safety. It would be a good candidate for a build, solid old action. I’m asking what I think the action is worth plus some for shipping.
