I'm not only familiar with the Gen 1 Contender, but I'm great friends with the guy that made it greater, JD Jones. I have many Gen 1s he made for me. Familiar with the SSK 50, but have any. They were made originally made by Dave Fricke, the owner of Lehigh Defense, who bought JD out. I tested ,300 Whisper bullets for Dave and found one that "certain govt. agency" bough massive amounts of.
Dave sold out Lehigh Defense to Wilson Combat last year & SSK was sold to someone else in PA. Not sure who's actually making the SSK-50 now, probably the new owner.

Geissele near Quakertown, PA now owns SSK Firearms. Yes Dave is a good friend as well! Brian in Wintersville, Ohio and Gordon in Allentown round out the crew now!
