What's your favorite deer bullet for the Swede?

It's winter, we're bored. I was initially thinking 120 or 130 grain ballistic tips but I'm curious what you guys that have been shooting it awhile like. Just a general purpose rifle with a basic 3-9x so no dialing. Shooting deer from 0 to 300 yards.

Ballistic tips would work great. I would also recommend berger bullets.
Yup,. the Classic and Elite Hunter, Bergers work Fine as Do, the 143 grain, ELD-X's.
Good results to 500 yards so Far, for My 25 year old grandson, All 3, of his, Big Muley's went, a couple / Three Step's, Max and,.. Folded, up ! I shoot, the Low Recoiling, 130 gr. ELD-M's for Steel and the 143's for, Big Game,..
Found that, the POI to Be almost exactly, the Same for, both Bullets at, 200 yds

I've got some 120 grain TSX that I was going to use for a fast and flat load in the PRC. Might try those first since they like jump, and an old Swedish rifle more than likely has a half mile long throat.

Bonded... Doesn't matter what the cartridge is.

I used the 143 Norma Bondstrike in my PRC this year. I took six does from 40 to 320 yards. There were a few impressive kills, and a few head scratchers. Last year I used the 135 Berger CH with exceptional results from 50 to 300; not a single runner. Maybe with a larger sample I'd get some disappointment with them as well.

So I did a little futzing around with some brass and a few bullets i had on hand. This is the 120 grain TSX at just over .200" off the lands...

That looks pretty good to me if I want fast and flat.

Next I took a 147 ELD-M and seated it to touch. I'd assume the 143 would be similar and I'm guessing a 140 Ballistic Tip would be a hair shorter over all.

These fit in the magazine with plenty to spare. It looks like I've got plenty of options. I'm going to run some of these numbers thru GRT and see what kind of potential I've got here.

For my 6.5 x 55 Improved I use 130 Accubonds ( ballistic tips not available in 130's). Happy with results. All my other deer rifles use Ballistic Tips. My throat is too long for the 120 BT.

I'd try shooting the 120s if I were you.
My Weatherby magnums and 284 Win all have really long throats, and the Ballistic Tips are some of the most accurate bullets in them.

@Adam in WI,
Try the Ballistic Tips. They have never let me down in any caliber or cartridge.
Very forgiving on jump.

140 Gold Dots. Expand but not too much, stay together but don’t need much speed like monolithics do.

I wanted to try the 140 Grand Slam since they worked well in my 25s, but they discontinued them
