BR ‘26 schedule for White Horse Firearms and Outdoor Education Center, Buckhannon WV

All matches will offer Light Gun, Heavy Gun, and Tactical. For all BR matches, registration will begin at 0700 until 0745 (note the new registration interval for 2026), safety meeting at 0745 followed by the shooting of innocent small groups for no good reason (relax, paper targets only). Goal is to start shooting Relay 1 at 0800.

600 yard

Match 1. May 2nd

Match 2. June 6th

Match 3. July 4th

Match 4. August 1

Match 5. Sept 5th

Match 6. Oct 3rd

Double points matches will be Match 4 and Match 5.

1000 yard

Match 1 & 2 May 9th

Match 3 & 4 June 13th

Match 5 & 6 July 11th & Match 7 & 8 July 12th (WV State Championship)

Match 9 & 10 Aug 8th

This attached file has my chicken scratch on it and shows all the shooting events for the upcoming season at WH including the F class matches.
Reasonable to double check the WH website once it's updated (currently still showing 2025), but i hopefully got it right.

"600F" is 600 yd high power prone includes F Open, FTR, FTR-Tac, sling etc
"1K F" indicates 1000 yd F class high power prone including F-open, FTR etc

40 shots for record, 2 x 20, including pit duty, for both 600 and 1k, registration for F class is 8 AM, usually about 20 shooters per match, welcome to PM me happy to discuss

Note the revised BR registration times above (edited today).

Registration for BR matches at White Horse will be from 0700-0745, safety meeting 0745, start Relay 1 at 0800.

We’re getting started a little earlier this year by popular demand, so maybe less mirage, thanks all for the input everyone.

That’s correct, these are 1k yd matches on a Saturday-Sunday, 2 matches each day.

Both HG and LG are 5 shots each target.

For each match there are 2 targets in each class so one match is 2 LG targets then 2 HG targets.

For the weekend, 8 targets in LG and 8 targets in HG.
