Suppressor forms approval times are surprisingly fast

I done the silencer shop single shot trust. 23hrs.

Filed forms around 11am on January 1st and on January 2nd at about 10am I received the approval for a Diligent Defense Enticer L. Everything was done back in November up to filing. My LGS had ordered it and had it on hand as I had paid for it then and they agreed to hold it till January. 23 hours is about what it took. I really figured it would longe with many people doing as I did. Now, if they will just change the law where all we have to do is a form 4473 just like we do with a firearm purchase that will be a step in the right direction. Kinda wish I had not done a single shot trust through Silencer Shop because now that I put it on my 300BO with some sub loads I'm hooked.

My LGS has been holding 2 suppressors for me (waiting on Jan 1) and I am curious how long it will take. Submit paperwork tomorrow.

Called LGS about suppressor ATF approval. Seems there is an up tick in "no fee" registrations. Well who would have guessed that......Lol I will wait a week and check again.

Mine finally got submitted on Monday the 5th. LGS had been trying since the 1st. The last one took 2 days for approval. We'll see how long this one takes.

Now I feel sad,for you, probably won't sleep well tonight over this. You would probably be miserable here in the free state of S.C., it was 70 degrees here today, just horrible! You be safe up there.

On a serious note:
I would love to see you guys SUE the crap out of your states that are Infringing on your 2nd amendment rights. The ATF treat these as a gun. Our right as U.S. citizens are given by God! and it clearly states shall not be infringed. I am no lawyer and have not stayed at the Holiday Express but I can read! I speculate that if the Supreme Court got the case they would rule against the state.
I used to own a trucking company and would not take loads going into or through states that didn't honor my CWP Permit. You ever been to east Chicago? If I went by the law I would be the only person there Without a gun! On top of that I got paid cash and had large sums on me at times. I choose to not be an easy victim, I may get killed, robbed, etc. but I'm going down fighting.
Sorry for the mini rant. Yes I have more but I'll spare ya'll for now. Time for my medication anyways.

One form submitted today. Second form required a photo update LGS said getting through to ATF had heavy traffic but might make it in today.

Form accepted on the 6th, approved on the 12th, suppressor in hand today.

My paperwork was submitted on 12/12/25, and I paid the tax stamp. I was hoping to have my suppressor in time for my son's Christmas visit. But here I am still waiting while others who filed well after me are being approved. I finally contacted my senator, and they are going to see what they can do.

If you submitted on December 12, ATF states all those forms were approved before Jan 1st. Many of those from that timeframe did not receive approval emails even though they were approved. Have your dealer do a search on his eform site for the approval.

I submitted on Jan 5th and was approved this past Sunday, Jan. 11.
