So I am about to start my journey into gunsmithing, school starts in a week. Any advice? Tips? Words of wisdom?
Definitely wanting to make it a $$ making job, definitely wanting to get my FFL, some machining experience, 8 year combat Army Vet, lengthy firearms experience with a good solid knowledgeable foundation, I also live in an area that doesn’t have an actual gunsmith. I’ve talked to all the gun shops within almost an hour of me and they all said the same thing, “nobody around here does it, and I get asked a dozen times a week about it” so there is a good need for it in my area.Well, I could lead with the joke about how to make a small fortune in gunsmithing...
But it would probably be more helpful if you told the crowd a bit more about yourself...
Hobbyist? Getting an FFL to (hopefully) earn some $$? Machining experience? etc.. etc.. etc..
