Kidd Supergrade?

I own a couple of nice 22 lr bolt action sporters. I have always been interested in a Kidd Supergrade. They look like a lot of fun. Adding a suppressor seems like even more fun. What accuracy could I anticipate with match ammo and the Kidd? If there is a better 10/22 clone out there I would love to hear about it. Thanks and Happy New Year!

I would expect MOA or better. Kidd is great stuff.

A Kidd rifle is the ultimate in a 10-22 style rifle. The right ammo and it will be benchrest accurate. I have known Rusty from back in the day when he was with the AMU and building Merle Eddigton and Sharon's pistols. I don't know how much Rusty has his hands on the Supergrade's , but Rusty knows accuracy.

I have a KIDD Supergrade in a Victor Company stock with the rear anchor. It is extremely capable. I have the two stage trigger and again it is fantastic. Everything KIDD is top notch. I have plans for an Ultra Lightweight barrel build with another Victor Co stock for squirrel hunting.

Mine will shoot with my Rim-X all things considered. Mije is in a woox. Trigger is phenominal for a 10/22 trigger. I run the 2 stage. As with every rimfire you need to find the ammo and or lot it likes. I really think you will enjoy the purchase

I guess that depends on the definition of benchrest accurate. My Kidds are very good shooters, especially for semi-autos, but they won't compete with any of my benchrest rifles
He’s probably talking about ABRA - Auto Benchrest Association where your bolt guns aren’t allowed.

ABRA has had 2 bolt classes for several years.
As far as a custom 10/22 platform rifle running with a full-blown unlimited bolt rifle, very little chance of that. I will say Kidd parts are very nice, but I have not played with any for almost 10yrs.

I got a look at their website but missed that, cool. Thanks.

I seem to remember mention or a 10/22 benchrest organization; however, I'm going to have to refer you to Kidd for any more information.

To add to what Scott said, there's actually quite a bit more bolt-action rifles being used in ABRA than there are semi-autos. Kind of a shame in my opinion. If it keeps a sanctioning RFBR body going I'm all for it I guess

I assembled a 10/22 with factory receiver, had CPC work the bolt, kid trigger, titan stock and Kidd 16” ultra light barrel. They don’t do their accuracy guarantee with the ultra light, but they should. Shoots lapua anything .2-.3 regular and several other match ammo in the same range at 50. It shoots eley and RWS subsonic HP for squirrel hunting well under .5” at 50. I would assume the full Kidd rifle will do the same or better.
