Ingenuity precision powder dispenser...Time per Target?

I don't have an IPPD, just Adam's Auto Throw and FX-120. What are you getting as far as elapsed time per throw with your IPPD's? My average is under 10 sec., sometimes 5, sometimes 9. My tolerance is +.02gr. I use 2 equal weight cups which really helps to speed things up.

Martin, do you mean the new (yet to be in wide release) complete powder dispenser system from Ingenuity, or just the IP Trickler?

Very few Beta testers have the whole system yet, the production release is nearly two years overdue.

Any and all, Dino. Ya, I've been following it...with a side-eye.

If you can find a V3 and add the IP Trickler, you will be happy.
A V4 will also work, you just have to get the extra harness to reach the IP Trickler because the original trickler wires are too short.

AT V4 thrower with IP trickler, IP controller (the brain) and FX120i scale gives about 7 sec per each throw without optimizing for speed, that’s fast enough for me. The range is effectively +/- 0.01 and dumping the occasional +0.02 overthrow lowers my average a bit. I’m quite happy and don’t plan to ever try improving on that. Could probably get down to overall average 5-6 sec per throw using +\- 0.02 and highest trickler speed, I’m sure Paul at IP knows the answer and he’s been super helpful.

You can order the new Trickler from Paul with the control pad. It comes minus the powder throw. It’s fast and accurate.

You need something like a Harrell’s powder throw to do the rough charge then the Trickler will take over.

Interesting to see the red light over the green or is it blue, indicating that the scale is .02 over the controller setting… .02gr = one granule of Varget…
Just shows that the scale and controller system is working hand in hand and is sensitive to the A&D i120 discrimination.
So looking forward to the whole IP system {SOME DAY…!} meanwhile my Mk1 Autotrickler + the IP trickler is doing the job with virtually no over/under throws and is quite a bit faster and more accurate than the original trickler that came with the Mk1.

Part of that was me playing with the trickler. I have it set to ZERO tolerance so +\- nothing. What I really want was 30.0 grains. So if the Trickler hits 29.98 there is a button to push that will give you one kernel of powder. If it goes over and gives me 30 grains it’s perfect.

I just got setup with the IP system minus the thrower. My thrower is the T3 thrower and it is only $125. So fast. And I love the single kernel feature.

Wait, I don't see just the trickler for sale on the website. is there a secret handshake involved? And do you need special mounting brackets? I have a T3 thrower.

Email Paul and he will put the order together with everything you need and email you a link to the cart.
