What scopes have you switched to?Had to replace all my standard hight rings with medium due to bigger objectives. Ken Farrell is my standard for base & rings, with Murphy as my backup.
Now I look forward to lapping next weekend.

I'm going from 30mm to 34mm when my new March comes in.
Been researching rings lately. I currently have Warne 30mm rings.
I like that they're steel. I did not lap them and don't think I'm losing points because I didn't.
I remember I paid $80 for the Warne rings at Academy 5 years ago. The same rings today are $170. !!!!!
Nightforce, Vortex, Area 410, etc etc are stupidly overpriced now. How can anyone justify $200 for rings?
Not sure what to do. I don't want to use cheap rings on a $5K scope, but I don't care to get screwed either.

Most quality rings should not require lapping in this day and age. Has anyone tested this?
