New Sierra bullets

Sierra do seem to make a very good bullet and at the same time keep the prices reasonable.

Then they should make a 104 and crush the competition. Hoping for something exciting.

103gr is just about the perfect weight for the 6BR…
Saying that, I have moved back to the 107’s with the new factory “pointed” meplat and 30.1gr of Varget & 20thou jump is just drilling the X ring in F Open.

They also said it could be either 133 or 135 grain when finalized and brought to production.

107's love to be in the lands. I start with far enough in that the engraving marks are square and then work back. Many times I just leave them there they shoot so well.

Rifle that Has most All, the "Goodies",.. 4's to 1/2 MOA and started doing some research, on "Here" Old Posts about, THIS Bullet,.. you'd Be surprised what you can Learn with, a Little research ! Shoved them In, "Deeper" and Blammo,.. 5 shot's, in the 2's and 3's !

Don’t be shy about trying farther in. It might get even better.

Cold and Windy then,.. Hot and Windy, sometimes ( Still Days are,.. a Rarity ).
I'm Not, a BR guy,. Just Steel Plates and Varmint accuracy for, Me !
My 16 y/o grandson, shot 5, 8 inch dia. Steel Plates in a Row, w/ my 6XC at, 700 Yards.

I'm glad you tried them in and found the magic of 107SMK's! At a certain point if you go in far enough you start running the risk of sticking a bullet in the lands if you need to take one out before firing it too. Something I forget to consider sometimes..

Not to shabby! I think it's the highest BC in that class, and better than most 108s and 109s even.

For those into numbers, here's a random selection from a box. BTO is quite consistent. TTB = tip to base ogive. Bearing surface by difference.

Edit: Corrected bearing surface - had wrong formula :/
