UPDATE ARKEN - QUALITY & DEPENDABILITY ?

Have two Arkens ( SH4J Gen II and EP5 ) on two range rifles and have nothing but good things to say about them functionally. I don’t know if Arken has addressed it, but there’s been an issue with turret screws backing out . Anybody buying one, do yourself a favor. Get the scope set up and zeroed in, then back the screws out a little. Add a drop of low strength Vibratite or loctite. Easy peasy.

I have had that happen on a couple of my Arkens. The set screws and the Allen wrench are a pitiful match. They can not take much torque. That’s the one complaint I have about them. I own 4 of their scopes

I shot a 22LR Long Gong match yesterday and there were a surprising number of not only Arken but The One 7-35 by DNT. Everyone I talked to was happy with them and had zero issues.
