A friend contacted me on the above bullet and that Scheels has a killer deal on them right now. 1000 pcs 50-grainers $90 shipped!!!

My question is, does anyone have knowledge of this bullet? I'm debating trying them out for my 22-250 on PD's and rock chucks.

I've had success with TNTs but a 22-250 might drive 'em too fast as they have a rep for being soft. YMMV.

That's what I have heard, just wanted to gather some input before buying. I want to be between 3700 and 3800 fps from a 26-inch barrel.

I used to use them all the time in the .223, but the last 1000 I bought were junk. Last Speer bullets I ever bought. Sierra, Nosler, and Hornady all make better bullets.

After further reviews, the bullet is not recommended at velocities over 3400 fps. Might possibly work with a slow 14 twist (Like what I have) it says.

I used Speed 50-gr. TNTs for years in a 22-250 and they will make woodchucks disappear. They a soft lead and for a time they had a "recommended" velocity on the box. Haven't used any for quite a while.

I run the 22cal 52grn in my 223 and my 22-250. In my 1-9 twist, 18" barrel 223 i love them, they are going around 3100fps. They group very well and they are death on p-dogs and coyotes. In my 22-250 the 52s group really well, they are going 3700fps. I haven't shot any varmints with the 22-250 and the 52s yet.

I bought a box of the 20 caliber 39s to try in my 204, I just haven't done anything with them yet. I'll post the results when I do.

There awesome, my 20PPCAI drives the 39 at 4,000 fps.
I've shot 50 grainers in my 222 Rem mag they have done great too.

I just tried them out of my 223 Sako with 12 twist barrel and Varget. Velocities in the 3160 to 3207 range showed good accuracy. I'm going to give them a try in my 222

So, are you saying you think they'll work in a 14 twist 22-250 at over 3600 fps? At .09 cents ea. I think a box of a 1000 would just look good on my shelf!

Didn't see anything on there about 50gr. TNT's. But I've shot a whole lot of them in 223AI and they do a number on whatever is in their way.. And the 52's are also messy.....The guy I shoot with uses the 52gr. hp in a 22-250 and they work fine. Buy them.

I think 5spd shoots them in a 14 twist for pdogs.

222, 1-9 Shilen and 223, 1-12 Rem OEM ... sub 1/2 MOA to 3/4 MOA.

They will work fine in a 14tw
