How do you get velocity several hundred fps above other non lead 165 gr bullets?

Simple answer: the Jordan Alloy core is roughly half the density of lead yet carries 68 ksi tensile strength.
That lets us drive a 165 gr bonded bullet to true .30-06 magnum pressures (62–64 k psi) without jacket separation or case damage, because the case is the exact same alloy. No magic, just metallurgy and a lot of gel.
