New to the 22 Creedmoor. Where to start?

So I put my 22 Creedmoor together earlier ( Savage action, Shilen Select Match barrel 1-8 twist, 26" long, swapped in Competition Accu trigger, and sadly still in the Accu stock for now.)

Dies, brass, and an assortment of bullets arrived today also. Sierra 69gr. 77 gr, Hornady 75 GR. ELD-M, and Match HP, and I have some 80gr. Sierras on the way. ... Powders available H 4350, Sta bal 6.5.

All that said, is there an easy button loading line with the 6BRA, 6 Dasher, etc I should start with? Or is the 22 Creedmoor more cantankerous?

Mine has been easy to load for and shoots every thing decent and most really good. I have use n560, and rl26 mostly with alpha brass and 80.5 Berger bullets. Hammers coyotes.

You didn't mention if the rifle was going to be for a specific use or multi use rifle but with the 70-80gr bullet range you selected H4350 will serve you very well for accuracy.

Howdy !

Back when I was shooting my wildcat “ .22-35 Remington “ in a 28” SS K & P 1-8 …..

My accuracy/field load was 40.5gr AA3100 and FED LR Match under Hornady
75”A”-Max…. giving 3,420fps. Primer switch in load to FED Large Magnum Rifle Match gave 3,500fps, w/ slight opening up in grouping. .22-35 has 49.4gr H2O capacity, which is quite close to a notional “ .22 Creedmoor “. I designed “ .22-35 “ in Oct 1975.
I used it on groundhog, to good effect. First barrel was a 24” SS Hart… shooting Hornady 55 SX…. then came the 28” K & P barrel years later.

In my gun/my loads, AA3100 out-shot VV160 and VV560.
My sense of it is…. in a .224” cal of the case capacity being discussed, powders like H4350, WW 760/H414, Hybrid H100V, 6.5 StaBal, VV160, AA3100 et al; deserve consideration. I did not include other powders of the “ Enduron “ series, as I believe they are being discontinued.

22-35 Remington sounds like an interesting wildcat.... That's for certain

I use 42.5 RL23 with the 75 eld and the 22-250 AI. It's a Savage home build as well. Toss it in a good laminate stock with pillars and bedding and you'll be golden.

Any of the standard slow burning powders will work great from what I've read. H1000, RL22-26, h4831 and h4350 are all easy to get shooting.

I’d also like to suggest the Berger 70gr vld for your use case. Performs fantastic on the animals you mentioned.
If I can find them, I'll give them a go.

This one seems to prefer StaBal 6.5 over H 4350 with the 75 ELD-M and 80 SMK
