Ingenuity precision trickler

Hello all,

It has been a long time since my last post. That sort of felt like giving confession at Sunday Mass.

I know I am way late to the dance, but I just ordered the Ingenuity Precision powder trickler with everything except the automated bulk powder thrower. Like many have said, I will keep my name on the waiting list no matter what. Does anyone have some updated pictures of your current set up using a manual thrower for the bulk charge and using the IP Trickler and electronics?

Any updates on which manual bulk powder thrower works best until you consider getting the IP automated bulk thrower?

What is your set up for dispensing bulk powder directly into the AD&D FX scale and then letting the IP trickler bring you to final weight?

Again I appreciate all responses, but pictures are even more appreciated!

I’ve had my Ingenuity trickled for about a year. I use V3 electronics on my FX120i but V2 should work just fine. I drop the main charge (about one gn short) manually with my Harrell powder measure. The Ingenuity works great. The only problem I had was powder bouncing out of the glass cup. This was solved with a small piece of plastic tubing on the end of the feed tube. When I get it “tuned” it’s really fast and accurate.
This is exactly what I do except the plastic, I just put the drop tube deeper into the cup, it does cause you to have to tilt the cup to remove it but works great. I'm still waiting on the Ingenuity bulk drop, was suppose to be here last month.

I use my AutoTrickler V3 but in the video below you can watch Speedy's setup. The new soft bottom powder cup works better than anything I've seen for bouncing kernals. I bought the 705 disk for N-133 but it was a waste of $27, N-133 will plug up the holes and it jams if you don't loosen and even remove the baffle. The included 7545 works better and you leave the baffle installed.
