Pondering a 30BR Barrel...

.....for my Panda HV. Is there a preferred barrel maker, contour, finished length, and twist? Currently it has a 24" HV contour in 6PPC and total weight is 13lb 5oz. I'd like to stay @13.5lb to make UBR custom weight. Thanks for your input.

That contour you're using is perfect. I have the same thing in a Kreiger 1-17, and it weighs right at 6lbs.

Just a suggestion.
On my 30BR, I keep the weight toward the back of the rifle, hence I use Light Varmint profiles.

This is a LV Krieger profile on my 30BR at 23.5 inches.

I have 1 Hart Barrel that is a hummer though, but When in doubt I choose Krieger

The Lilja barrels really shoot accurately with the 30BR.

On a 30BR, a 22" barrel is about all that's needed. Gun balance is something you should take a hard look at before deciding on a barrel length.

Yep. I've ended up putting about a pound and half of tungsten shot in the butt to get my existing rig to balance. Still not sure I have it right, but it seemed to help with vertical.
