CZ 457 Sling Stud Hole

I have removed the sling stud from my CZ 457 wood stock. It was never used and kinda in the way, when using my rear bag. Any suggestions on plugging the hole or just leave it exposed/open?

If you shoot ARA just leave it out. If you fill it, its considered a permanent modification and is against the current rule for the factory class.

If you're handy, you could switch both sling swivels to flush mount QD sockets. GrovTech has a large selection, Uncle Mikes etc.

I’d drill it out and tap in a dowel with glue on it.

Use 2 colors of tape as a file/sanding guide. Stain to match.

How do you deal with these rules?

Why do you deal with these rules?

Who even looks at this and enforces it?

I’d love to meet that guy. Just to see.

Whole different culture, amazing.

Taking out the stud, is fine, but do not plug a hole in the wood, instant disqualification.

It's their game and their rules, I enjoy the ARA factory classs. If you don't like the rules, don't shoot in the ARA factory class.
