Usually I’m on top of getting ready for the fall hunts. Not so much this year. Works been busy, family stuff etc etc but it’s time to get the rifles out and get everything tuned up. Mostly I just need to spend some time shooting and get everything dialed in.
Me and the wife have a deer hunt in 6 weeks in New Mexico, any anterlered which means Muleys or Coues deer. We always concentrate on the Coues but there are some big Muleys in that unit too. Then my oldest daughter has a trophy Coues rifle hunt in our favorite unit in Arizona the last two weeks of December I’ll help with. My wife has a good Coues tag on the San Carlos reservation in January. That’s it this year, just deer. I was suppose to hunt the White Mountain Apache Reservation for elk this year but due to the drought the tribe allowed any tag holders to put it off till next year, I took them up on the offer.
Anyone else not taking care of business?
